Practice Manager & Educational Advocate

Hi, I’m Alex. I serve as a welcoming presence and key point of connection for individuals and families engaging with BHP Collective. With a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Morgan State University and a Master’s degree in Business from the University of Maryland Global Campus, my work blends educational advocacy, community engagement, and mental health administration to help ensure clients feel supported from their very first interaction with our practice.

My professional background includes experience in quality assurance, billing, and community outreach within behavioral health settings. Before joining BHP Collective, I taught in Baltimore City Public Schools, where I developed a strong commitment to supporting students and families in ways that promote confidence, access to resources, and emotional well-being. This foundation continues to guide my approach as I advocate for families navigating systems of care, education, and community support.

As someone born and raised in Maryland, I am deeply invested in strengthening relationships within our local communities. I believe meaningful care begins with trust, accessibility, and genuine human connection. Whether I am assisting clients behind the scenes, coordinating resources, or welcoming individuals into our space, my goal is to help each person feel seen, respected, and at home.

Outside of my professional role, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and embracing my role as a proud mom and growing sports mom. I value staying active, supporting my son’s activities, and expressing creativity through social media and community-focused initiatives.

I am committed to continuing to grow alongside BHP Collective and expanding my impact as an educational advocate and community connector. It is truly meaningful to be part of creating an environment where individuals and families feel supported, empowered, and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors
