Dr. Melissa Marshall possesses diverse experiences, which she utilizes with each client she engages. She holds a Ph.D. in organizational psychology. She completed the Master’s Plus Graduate program in Counseling Psychology at Loyola University Maryland. She began working in the mental health field over 20 years ago. She provided parenting training for families with children diagnosed with severe emotional disturbances. For the past decade, Dr. Marshall has served as Adjunct Faculty and Guest Lecturer at several local colleges and universities. Additionally, she has provided professional development coaching services to individuals.

She has served over 100 couples within the behavioral health field. This includes those healing from affairs. She has also worked with individuals in the LGBTQ community. Dr. Marshall is an Imago Certified Clinical Therapist and a Certified Systemic SandPlay Therapist.

Dr. Marshall has obtained extensive training in Imago Therapy for Couples, Expressive Arts (including sandtray therapy), and Grief Counseling. She is currently seeing clients as young as 5 years old. She will offer psychological evaluations and assessments in June 2026.
