Board Approved Supervisor for Social Workers & Counselors
Hi! I am Mrs. Ramona! I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a Bachelor of Psychology from Salisbury University, and I have spent more than fifteen years doing the kind of work that genuinely matters by providing evidence-based behavioral health services to individuals, youth, and families who deserve both clinical excellence and real human care.
My career has taken me through some of the most demanding and meaningful corners of this field. I have worked as a social work supervisor, directed behavioral health programs for children and families, and provided clinical care management across complex systems of care. Each of those roles deepened my conviction that good supervision and strong leadership are not administrative functions but instead they are acts of care in their own right.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) and a Maryland Board Approved Supervisor, and I bring both of those designations to my work here with intention. My clinical specialties span the full lifespan, with particular depth in youth and family therapy. I believe that healing within families often begins with one person willing to show up differently and my role is to help that person find their footing and build from there.
What draws me to supervision and training is the same thing that drew me to direct practice: I want the people I work with to feel more capable and more grounded when they leave than when they arrived. Whether that person is a client navigating a hard season or a newer clinician learning to trust their instincts, that is the work I care about.
Outside of the office, I recharge by crafting and spending time with my family — two things that remind me, regularly, that rest and creativity are not indulgences. They are part of staying whole.
