Hi, I’m Trista. I am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where you can openly explore your inner world without fear of judgment. I believe that every person deserves to feel valued, understood, and truly heard, and I strive to offer a therapeutic environment grounded in trust, respect, and compassion.
I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Systemic Sex Therapy at National University. My background includes nearly a decade of active-duty military service and lived experience as a former military spouse. This has given me meaningful insight into the unique emotional, relational, and identity-related challenges faced by service members and their families. I am especially passionate about suicide prevention, reducing stigma around mental health support, and helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the complexities of military life and life transitions.
As an aspiring sex therapist, I am deeply committed to supporting clients in discovering and honoring their sexual needs, desires, and relational dynamics. I believe that open and thoughtful conversations about sexuality are essential to developing a fulfilling relationship with both self and others. My clinical interests include working with individuals and couples navigating sexual desire differences, intimacy concerns, relationship challenges, and sexual behaviors that feel difficult to understand or manage.
At the heart of my work is the belief that you already hold many of the answers you are seeking. Therapy provides a collaborative and supportive partnership to help uncover those insights while building the skills and confidence needed for meaningful growth, healing, and connection.
