My military background
Nearly a decade of active-duty military service shapes how I show up as a therapist. Additionally, my years as a military spouse give me firsthand insight into military family life. Together, these experiences help me understand what service members and their loved ones carry every day.
Suicide prevention sits close to my heart. So does reducing the stigma around mental health care in military communities. Furthermore, I help individuals, couples, and families navigate life transitions, especially those tied to service, deployment, and reintegration.
Sex therapy and intimacy
As an aspiring sex therapist, I help clients explore their sexual needs, desires, and relational dynamics. Open conversations about sexuality matter deeply. In fact, these conversations are essential to building a fulfilling relationship with a partner and with yourself.
My clinical interests include sexual desire differences between partners, individuals struggling with substance abuse or porn addiction, intimacy concerns and emotional disconnection, relationship challenges and communication, and sexual behaviors that feel confusing or hard to manage. I also love working with parents who struggle to focus on themselves and need someone to hold space for them.
How I work
You already hold many of the answers you seek. Therapy helps you find them. Moreover, it builds the skills and confidence needed for real growth, healing, and connection. My role is not to have all the answers. Instead, I show up as a collaborative partner in your process. Together, we explore, we challenge, and we build. As a result, clients often leave sessions feeling more grounded and clearer.
